What Makes A Dad?

God took the strength of mountain,

The majesty of a tree,

The warmth of a summer sun,

The calm of a quiet sea,

The generous soul of nature,

The comforting arm of night,

The wisdom of the ages,

The power of the eagle’s flight,

The joy of a morning spring,

The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,

The depth of a family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew his masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it………DAD!

Hey, its Father’s day, & I think this is the best tribute you can give to your Dad. I read it somewhere, & thought to share it with my readers. I hope you will like it. Dads are The Guiding light of our life, & it’s our duty to make them happy. So, do everything, which makes your Dad, feel proud & happy.

Love,

Manjari

  4. Hi Manjari:)

I have no words to express my appreciation for your beautiful and fantastic thoughts about dad.

Normally, dad is the most misunderstood person in the family. He is seen as a tough task master, a disciplinarian who has to be obeyed without any dissent. No one thinks he has the interests of the family foremost in his thoughts. No one sees the sacrifice he makes for the family. Everyone in the house sees him going out in the morning well dressed and comes back in the evening to dictate and command everybody in the house. He instills fear.

But your poem makes me sit and wonder whether what I have written above is correct. Whether my assessment of the father's traits are true. How many youngsters will believe what you have written? Normally every youngster wants to rebel against the father.

Your poem is an eye opener and a marvelous tribute to father. God will bless you millions of times and shower upon you all happiness and success.

    Have a wonderful day Manjari:)
